I may be at Brighton in the course of next week or following (for the first time in my life!) & (and) if so should like to see you very much at Hurst.

Dear Mitten*1
Wilson has at last sent the Catalogues of the Pleurocarpi[?], & (and) I hope that the kirocarpi[?] will follow at once. Will you kindly send me your list of the specimens & (and) localities, & (and) I shall be glad of any advice or suggestion about printing it. My idea is to print it & (and) distribute it with the specimens for which the public are calling loudly. If it were any thing like a

complete list of the known Musci, Lichens, & (and) Hepats of India & (and) their habitats I would have it printed in the Journal & (and) a 100 extra copies thrown off for ourselves to distribute &c (et cetera).
G.S. Gough is a son of Lord Gough -- I never saw him he is now a Colonel I think.
