pay would be £200 per 1000 species press correcting included -- Of course I would help you all I could, & chuse[sic] easy Orders for you to begin with. The would Orders would have to be finished by time, & the work
mainly done at Kew.
Working steadily I calculate a man should do five species a day easily taking the Orders as they come.

1. Sir William Turner Thiselton-Dyer (1843--1928). British botanist and third Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (1885--1905). He succeeded Joseph Hooker in the role after serving as his Assistant Director for ten years. He also married Hooker's eldest daughter Harriet in 1877.
