We have just heard the (in these parts) joyful intelligence that you have taken Newark Park.
Well you will be in the desert "jungletis densissimus" but you certainly have a place full of attractions & some of the loveliest scenery in England, here [1 word illeg.] some very good neighbours in the [2 words illeg.] & very kind old friends here who you

most of all appreciate proximity to & who are longingly desirous to make your & Mrs Munro's acquaintance.
I go from here to Mr St Caves on Thursday till Saturday. then to Cheltenham to stay with Mr Barnard till Monday, when I return to Kew.
Harriet & the children are at Boulogne but will I suppose return on the 10th. When are you
